How are seismic planes modeled?

The structural models provide a division between the walls (vertical) and the horizontals. The floors are modeled as rigid or deformable diaphragms, thus realizing the mutual coupling of the walls. A distinction can be made between seismic and non-seismic elevations. The former are those to which a notable mass is attributed, while the latter is attributed a negligible quantity.
