How are railway traffic loads modelled?

Railway traffic loads, such as wagons and carriages, are modeled in accordance with the latest legislations and the Italian and International Railways design manual, using load models with concentrated forces, applied on the railway surface in correspondence with the trolley axles, or as equivalent linear loads applied in axis to each track, or as distributed surface loads.
