Design and verification of reinforcements on existing structure
With 3DMacro it is possible to design reinforcement systems such as tie rods and chains, reinforced walls, FRP and FRCM reinforcements in fibre-reinforced composite materials (carbon, glass, steel, etc.). New facilities and a simplified input are available to characterize the wall typologies, with particular reference to existing buildings, and allows the automatic identification of the wall bays.
Nonlinear solver based on matrix sparse
The software has a powerful solver developed by researchers at the University of Catania and other institutions all over Europe, which implements the execution of nonlinear static analyzes with force and displacement control for the evaluation of the load-bearing capacity of the structure in static and seismic conditions.
Easy and clear reading of the results
The visualization of the results is simple and intuitive, giving a clear vision of the global and local response of each fiber, through appropriate damage indicators and interface stress diagrams between the macro-elements, as well as diagrams of the stress characteristics and resistance domains for each section of the finite element frame, with both 3D views and easy-to-read 2D graphs.
